VOLUNTEERS are urgently wanted to help at Age Concern.
The local charity is in need of help at its charity shop in Market Street, Darwen, to process, sort and steam donations.
Volunteers play a crucial role in picking out saleable goods and making them look pressed and presentable, so an eye for fashion is useful.
Out-of-pocket travel expenses are also available.
Fran Breckell, Age Concern's volunteer co-ordinator, said: "Being a volunteer at the shop can be fun, but it is also a very important role as all the money raised through the shop is used to support vital services for the older people of Darwen."
Anyone who is interested or would like more details can contact Fran at Age Concern Blackburn with Darwen on 01254 266620.
