A MAN jailed for drug running has never been given a second chance, says his step-father.
Father-of-12, Glen Liversidge, 49, from Padiham, got a two year sentence after police caught him stashing and removing amphetamines.
Silvia Dacre, prosecuting, had said on the different occasions police found drugs, the hauls weighed between 125 grammes and 340 grammes and were worth at any one time between £1,000 and £3,500.
His step-father, Michael Barry, of Sharp Street, Burnley, said: "You hear about these people getting chance after chance but Glen's never been given a chance. He always gets sent down.
"He's not a big time drug dealer - he had a job at the time."
