AN arson investigation has been launched after a car was left burnt out at a car wash in Blackburn.
Firefighters were called to the car wash attached to a cash and carry in Pringle Street, shortly after 9.30am on Saturday.
A Nissan Micra parked in the car wash shelter was well alight and the heat had spread to a Mercedes parked next to it, causing substantial damage.
The shelter was also severely damaged by heat and smoke, and there was smoke damage to the adjoining cash and carry building.
A Blackburn fire crew spent 90 minutes at the scene.
