A man will have to have facial surgery after being attacked in a town centre bar.
The 31-year-old man suffered a fractured cheek bone and jaw after being set upon in the Cellar Bar, King Street, Blackburn, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The man was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital shortly after 3am for treatment for his injuries and was yesterday awaiting surgery.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
