The next meeting of the Rishton PROSPECTS Panel (Rishton's environmental group) will take place at Primetime, Stourton St on Tuesday the 3rd of June 2008 starting at 7.00pm. All with an interest in improving the local environment and the quality of life for residents are welcome. Items for discussion will include our contribution to Rishton in Bloom, the Oswaldtwistle Mills Garden Party on the 10th August, Station adoption activities, progress on the 'Bottom Rec' project, etc.
For those who would like to 'get their hands dirty' there is a working party at the station on Thursday 29th May 2008 starting at 9.30am, mainly to replant the planters to give some colour and brighten up the station for the summer months.
