CRYSTAL Castles have already built a cult following with their original take on left-field electronica.
The Toronto duo are Ethan Kath, a multi- instrumentalist with a chiptune preoccupation (chiptunes are a modern take on the music that featured in 1980s video games), and Alice Glass on heavily distorted vocals.
Brimming with disturbed energy and lyrics which are partially lost amongst the screams and throbbing 8-bit beat, Courtship Dating can only add to the huge expectations for Crystal Castles' upcoming debut album.
