A 24-year-old man who attacked a man he knew "playfighting" at a house, has admitted injuring him.
Joseph Hodgkinson, of Dane Street, Burnley, pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm on James Gorton, last October.
Hodgkinson, who has a previous conviction for battery, in 2007, was bailed until June 9, for a pre-sentence report.
He was told not to contact witnesses and not to go within 100 metres of Scarlett Street.
