A MUSICAL has been written by a Darwen amateur theatre group.
The musical Soul Kings and Heart Strings was written by the daughter of one of the theatre group's members Anne Ingham.
Pepper Hill, whose members practise above the Borough pub in Grimshaw Street, Darwen, are in the final stages of rehearsals for the performance which runs from June 4 to June 7 at Daren Library Theatre at 7.30pm.
Anne's daughter Angela Phillips based the play on Shakepeare's Much Ado About Nothing.
