A CLEAN-up campaign by environmental crusaders has made a real difference to a green haven in Colne.
Armed with litter pickers and gloves, volunteers led by Colne Water Angling Club spruced up Waterside Millennium Green on Sunday.
The club was joined by the Friends of Ball Grove and a couple of residents, anxious to make their neighbour-hood a brighter place.
The volunteers even waded into Colne Water to remove the junk as part of Trout in the Town initiative, which is designed to introduce more wildlife.
