A POLICE car had a brick thrown through its windscreen while parked outside a police station.
The patrol vehicle, which was in Grange Street, Accrington, also had a side window broken at around 3.20am on Wednesday.
The total cost of the damage was around £500.
Following the incident Glenn Bowers, 28, of Washington Street, Accrington, was arrested and charged with causing criminal damage.
He was later re-arrested and charged with going equipped to steal.
He is due before Blackburn magistrates today.
