A 15-year-old Burnley girl who flouted a community order given to her by a judge got a last chance to comply.
Burnley Crown Court heard how the teenager did not attend appointments, did not get out of bed when an alcohol adviser attended her home and claimed she and her supervising officer had a personality clash.
Judge Beverley Lunt said she had planned to send the defendant to detention for four months.
The judge said the girl's attendance on the order since January had been "abominable," and added there had been an appalling lack of co-operation with the probation service in the last two weeks.
Judge Lunt gave the teenager, who had earlier been convicted of assault with intent to rob, 60 hours unpaid work and said the order would continue.
She warned the girl what would happen if she flouted the order again.
She said : "No more sob stories. You are going to custody and that will be your future set from there on."
