COLNE Library wants volunteers to help shape and promote the service in the community.
A group comprising 10 to 12 people would help form an associated friends group providing a forum for social and cultural activities.
Anyone interested should attend the first meeting on Wednesday at 6pm, more information from library manager Gillian Harbour or Fiona McIntyre on 01282 871155.
Plans to spend a £325,000 lottery fund grant are on display at the library.
