A MAN who breached a community order for a second time was given another one by Burnley magistrates.
The court was told how Nisar Shah, 21, was given the first order in March last year, but had not contacted the probation office since last November.
The defendant, of Pendle Street, Nelson, admitted failing to comply with the order, which had now expired. The bench revoked the order and resentenced for offences of driving whilst disqualified, drink driving, no insurance, no MOT and obstructing police. Shah was given a 12 month community order with 200 hours unpaid work.
The court heard how Shah was originally given 240 hours unpaid work, got another 40 hours when he breached the order and 157 hours were still outstanding.
He had given a false name when stopped by police and had given a positive breath test.
Scott Parker, defending, said Shah had been looking after his mother who had mental health problems.
