A MEMORIAL football match is taking place for a former Darwen teenager killed in road accident.
Craig Cronshaw, 18, died and two of his passengers were injured when his Citroën Saxo lost control in Stacksteads, crashing into a wall, at 5.20am on December 9.
The football-mad victim, who lived in Bolton Road, Darwen, until he was 14, played for Stacksteads St Joseph's and the Voodoo Valley football team.
The match has been organised by Craig's cousin, Wayne, and the football team which Craig played for.
Tickets are £5 for the match and all proceeds will go to BRAKE - the road safety charity which aims to prevent death and injury on the road.
The game starts at 11am on Sunday, April 6 and will be followed by a band and buffet at the Rosemount Working Men's Club.
Craig's mum, Trish, will attend the event with family and friends.
