A MOTORCYCLIST was badly injured when he lost control of his bike in Cliviger, police said.
The 21-year-old man was airlifted to hospital after coming off the bike as he drove along Long Causeway at 11.15am yesterday.
Police said he lost control on a bend and fell off as the motorbike hurtled over a wall.
The bike was later recovered from a field.
No other vehicles were involved.
The injuries were thought to be serious, but their extent was unknown last night.
The road was closed while an accident investigation took place.
