MARKET towns in Hyndburn are set to look blooming marvellous this summer.
Hyndburn Council plans to buy 60 flower towers and 350 hanging baskets to dot around the borough as part of an £18,000 scheme.
Last year was the first year of the council's Floral Market Towns scheme when similar flower displays were leased and taken away at the end of the growing season.
This year the council have decided to buy the flowers and plant them up locally to create a more permanent feature.
The council plans to have everything ready for the the beginning of June.
