From May until July, Barnoldswick Library is hosting quite an unusual exhibition.
'History of Medical Matters in Barnoldswick'will include information on the provision of medical care for local people before the advent of the health service, epidemics, the isolation hospital, and a piece on Dr Pickard - who was quite a character.
Also, there will be an accompanying exhibit of medical items provided by a Mr Chitty.
