CLINT Boon of the Inspiral Carpets and a leading figure in the Manchester music scene is to be the guest DJ tomorrow night when St Mary’s Chambers in Rawtenstall hosts a party to mark the ending of lockdown restrictions.
Local covers band Super Chunx will be playing live featuring punk, indie and Brit pop classics before Clint’s DJ set.
A regular presenter on the radio station XS Manchester, Clint boasts an impressive CV covering 35 years in the music business. With the Inspiral Carpets, he was part of the ‘Madchester’ music revolution and for the past 25 years has been one of the most in-demand club DJs.
