ANOTHER death from coronavirus has been recorded at Royal Bolton Hospital.
This is the fourth time in as many days that it has been announced that a person has died from Covid-19 at the hospital, according to NHS England.
Data shows that the patient died on June 16, with eight other people dying in hospitals from Covid in the North West that day.
This means a total of 661 people have died of Covid-19 at the hospital since the start of the pandemic with the first death occurring on March 20 of last year.
In the seven days leading to June 12, Bolton recorded a Covid infection rate of 296.6 cases per 100,000 people.
This is still higher than the English average but is significantly lower that last month, when it reached a peak of 452,8 cases per 100,000 people in the seven days leading to May 21.
