The fire service were called to a fire in a woodland behind a residential street for the second time in recent weeks this weekend.
Residents called fire fighters after a blaze was started late on Sunday evening behind houses in Hough Lane, Bromley Cross.
A shed containing a "large" amount of wood was set on fire with one resident telling The Bolton News how this is not the first time this has happened recently.
They said: "It's the second time in the past few weeks. Fire service had to come out again and residents are sick of it
"It's so dangerous and very close to our houses."
A spokesman for GMFRS said: “At approximately 9.30pm on Sunday, 13 June, firefighters were called to reports of a fire on Clay Street, in Bolton.
“One fire engine from Bolton North station quickly arrived to the scene. The fire involved a shed containing a large quantity of wood.
“Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for around 30 minutes.”
Greater Manchester police were approached for more information.
