A WARRINGTON Wolves under 19s player has tested positive for Covid-19.
The Wire confirmed that as a result, today's under 19s match against Wigan Warriors has had to be postponed as several of their players have been instructed to self-isolate having been identified as close contacts.
It comes as Covid continues to cause disruption to the game, with two Super League fixtures – Leeds vs St Helens and Huddersfield vs Wigan – both being called off after positive tests in the Leeds and Huddersfield camps.
The Women's Super League clash between St Helens and Wigan was also postponed due to a case among the Saints squad.
