A teenage girl has been taken to hospital following a crash.
Emergency services, including the air ambulance were sent to Poulton Old Road in Blackpool at around 3.30pm on Wednesday after receiving reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
Police closed the road for around an hour while paramedics could assess the girl's injuries.
A spokesperson for the police said: "We were called at around 3.30pm to Poulton Old Road to reports of a collision.
"Looks like a teenage girl has been injured and has gone to hospital.
"The road was closed but reopened around 4.30pm."
The extent of the girl's injuries is not known, but it is believed that the air ambulance was not needed and she was transported to hospital by road.
The driver of the car is thought to have remained at the scene while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
