Police cordon off residential street after reports of 'shots fired' in early hours
A ROAD in Little Hulton has been taped off after reports of gun fire in the early hours of this morning.
Police say they were called to Madams Wood Road this at 1am after shots were fired.
No-one is said to have been injured in the incident with an investigation launched by police.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "Officers were called just before 1am this morning (May 4) to a report of shots fired on Madams Wood Road.
"No one was injured.
"An investigation is on-going and a cordon remains in place.
"Anyone with information is asked to call 0161 856 5194 or 101 quoting incident number 105 of 04/05/2021 or report online at gmp.police.uk.
"Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
