A ROAD in Little Hulton has been taped off after reports of gun fire in the early hours of this morning.

Police say they were called to Madams Wood Road this at 1am after shots were fired.

No-one is said to have been injured in the incident with an investigation launched by police.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "Officers were called just before 1am this morning (May 4) to a report of shots fired on Madams Wood Road.

"No one was injured.

"An investigation is on-going and a cordon remains in place.
