A ROAD closure was put in place on a busy Bolton road after debris fell from a building.
The debris has now been cleared and is cordoned off.
Signage from the former King William IV pub, opposite Burnden Asda, had come loose.
One lane on Manchester Road, near Asda, was closed earlier because of the incident.
Traffic was said to be coping well.
A traffic report from earlier today stated: "One lane closed due to debris which have fallen from a building on road on B6536 Manchester Road inbound near Asda. Traffic is coping well. Lane one (Of two) is closed."
The former pub was later converted into a print shop.
