A CAR was seized by police over Bank Holiday weekend after it was revealed the driver held no insurance - and only a provisional licence.
Traffic police were on patrol in Farnworth yesterday morning (April 2) when they proactively stopped a blue Skoda Fabia.
The driver has since been 'reported to court', according to the local authorities.
A Bolton South spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "TransportUnit patrols proactively stopped this vehicle in Farnworth earlier which was showing no insurance and in trade.
"The driver was a provisional licence holder with no insurance so the car was seized & driver reported to court."
