A SELFLESS eight-year-old raised hundreds of pounds for a Bolton refuge over the weekend.
Brooke Everett-Davies, from Horwich, sold baked goods and old toys from her garden on Saturday afternoon to raise much-needed funds for Fortalice.
She baked brownies, cookies, Biscoff slices and millionaire shortbread - and raised £222 in the process.
Her grandmother Janine Everett, who lives with Brook, said: "She is an amazing little girl with a heart of gold.
"I bake for a living so she's got that from me, but she just got up one day out of the blue and decided she wanted to do this fundraiser to help."
Fortalice's chief executive Gill Smallwood said: "We are absolutely delighted with Brooks cake sale for us, it was a lovely surprise - she is clearly very talented.
"A huge thanks to Brook for all her hard work raising funds for us, we will use the money to help people who come into our refuge."
