Police are seeing witnesses after a crash between a motorbike and a van left a man in hospital.
The incident occurred on Saturday at around 5.10pm on Skitham Lane, Pilling, when an Iveco van collided with a Triumph Speedtwin motorbike.
The motorcyclist – a man aged in his 60s – was taken to hospital with what were initially believed to be life-changing injuries.
Thankfully they are now not thought to be as serious.
The road was closed for around five hours while specialist officers attended the scene.
Police are now appealing for information and would ask anybody who witnessed the incident to get in touch with them.
Sgt Andrew Hemingway, of Lancashire Police’s TacOps team, said: “We are working hard to piece together exactly what occurred and are asking anybody with information, and who has not yet been spoken to by police, to contact us.
"Perhaps you saw the incident itself, or maybe you saw one of the vehicles in the moments before the collision occurred.
"Either way we would ask you to share the information with us.”
Anybody with information is asked to get in touch on 101, quoting log 1088 of April 17th.
