Anyone wondering why a section of the M6 was closed last night, this is the reason.
Just after midnight a wagon overturned close to junction 33 on the M6 southbound.
The #M6 southbound #J34 (#Lancaster #Morecambe #A683) to #J32 (#BroughtonInterchange #Blackpool #PrestonNorth) is in the process of being CLOSED to recover an overturned HGV. Traffic Officers @LancsRoadPolice @NWAmbulance & Recovery are currently at scene.@CumbriaRdWatch pic.twitter.com/90nPy5sT1Z

Thankfully there were no injuries but police closed the motorway for several hours so the HGV could be recovered.
A spokesperson for Lancs Road Police said: "Overturned wagon M6 J33, thankfully no serious injuries.
"M6 south from J34 will be shut for the next couple of hours whilst we get it back on its feet."
