Right now, the average property price in Bolton stands at £171,414- which is over £118,000 cheaper than this average.

It's not as busy as Manchester

If you think Manchester is too hectic and busy, then Bolton is the perfect inbetween.
The town is still vibrant with plenty of things to do but not so busy that you dread heading into the centre on a Saturday afternoon. 

However, if want more shopping variety, Manchester is just thirty minutes down the road.

In terms of areas, data from Rightmove suggest that one of the most popular area to move to in Bolton are Kearsley and Harwood.

However, there are plenty of other thriving areas to move to as well.

Currently, the cheapest home for sale in Bolton is on Starcliffe Street in Farnworth.

It’s only £50,000 and has two bedrooms.

If this wasn’t enough, Bolton Council recently agreed on plans to create a housing development in the centre.

Developers are set to submit a planning application for 130 new homes as part of the Croal Valley intervention area.

Your kids can get a great education

According to the latest government and Ofsted data, 31 schools in Bolton received a ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rating in 2019 and 2020.  

One ‘outstanding’ rated school is Rumworth in Ladybridge.

The transport system is always improving

New measures are being brought in to improve Bolton's transport system. 

Earlier this month, a brand new multi-million pound cycling junction opened up in the town centre.

There are also talks of developing a direct rail service from Bolton to London which would open up so many economic doors for Boltonians.

There are a lot of cultural monuments in Bolton.

Turton Tower was built in the Middle Ages and Smithills Hall is regarded as one of the best preserved manor houses in the North West.
