CHRISTINE McGuinness has promoted a new challenge ahead of this year's World Autism Awareness Week.

Christine, who is married to Bolton TV star Paddy McGuinness, is an ambassador for the National Autistic Society.

Christine, 32, and Paddy, 47, share twins Penelope and Leo aged seven, and daughter Felicity aged three, who have all been diagnosed with autism.

The super 7 challenge is so-called as it hopes people do something related to the number seven.

For example, a seven round quiz, a seven hour game-a-thon or a seven hour exercise challenge.

In a promotional video for the awareness week, which is from March 29 to April 4, Christine said that she would be doing a fitness based challenge.

She said: "This World Autism Awareness Week, I am doing the Super 7 challenge to raise money for the National Autistic Society.

"My challenge is a workout including 7k on the bike, a 70-second plank and seven sets of squats.

"You can have any level of fitness for this - the main thing is that you just have fun. This is your challenge."

The challenge costs £12 and people are given several fundraising support items to help boost their efforts.

Participants receive fundraising support, a digital event pack full of ideas, a spectrum t-shirt, a medal and a digital certificate, along with encouragement online.
