A CLOSURE order has been granted for a property which has become a 'magnet for anti-social behaviour'.
Police and council officials said those living close to Birchfield Mews in Burnley have been dealing with bad behaviour coming from the address for several months.
However anyone caught inside the property will now face further action following the implementation of a closure order.
A police spokesman said: "Burnley Council in collaboration with the Burnley West Neighbourhood Policing Team have been successful in obtaining an interim closure order for an address on Birchfield Mews in Burnley.
"The order prevents persons who do not reside at the address from visiting and is in place until the 10th December where it will be heard at Magistrates Court for a full closure order.
"The address had become a magnet for anti-social behaviour over the last few months causing local residents considerable distress."
