THROUGHOUT the Covid-19 pandemic, people all over the country have been looking for ways to help raise funds for the NHS.

Warrington RUFC are no different as they team up to rack up the miles in aid of health service charities.

On Sunday, each of the club’s teams at junior and senior level will aim to cover the distance between Warrington and Twickenham while walking, running, cycling or scooting around the town.

That means each group must cover 204 miles – the distance between their new clubhouse on Stockton Lane in Grappenhall and rugby union’s national stadium.

The aim is to complete the challenge within 24 hours and distances will be collected from each player on the day.

Money raised will be split between the club and the Warrington & Halton Hospital NHS charity.

At the time of writing, £895 had been raised on the club’s Justgiving page.
