BURY pop star Suzanne Shaw could be set for a return to the spotlight following rumours chart-toppers Hear'say could be reforming.

Members of the group are reportedly in talks for a reunion tour to mark the 20th anniversary of winning ITV's Popstars in 2001.

According to reports, Suzanne, with bandmates Kym Marsh, 44, Noel Sullivan, 40, and Danny Foster, 41, have been discussing getting back together next year.

The project is not thought to include Myleene Klass, who has reportedly declined the offer to perform with the reality stars again.

The ex-St Gabriel's RC High student shared details of a long battle with depression earlier this year for Mental Health Awareness Week.

A source told The Sun: "Right now, there's a real demand for nostalgia and feel-good celebrity — and Hear'Say fit the bill.

"The group exchanged a series of messages about a reunion, proposing a few tour dates and a couple of one-off TV appearances, as well as a possible ITV documentary.

"But after much consideration, Myleene politely said that after a lot of thought she didn't think the time was right for her."

Hear'Say achieved instant fame in 2001 when they were created through the ITV reality TV show Popstars, breaking chart records with their debut single Pure and Simple and the album Popstars.

But their second album failed to match this success and they split in 2002.

Suzanne, 39, went on to win the 2008 series of Dancing On Ice and has starred in several West End productions

She also had a role as Eve Jenson in Emmerdale, but quit in 2011 after one year.
