SAINTS coach Kristian Woolf gave an update on two of his props who came off during Friday's semi-final win over Catalans.

James Graham was lost early in the game with a head injury while fellow front rower Alex Walmsley failed to finish after twice hobbling away from q tackle with a knee injury.

A third middle, Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, left the field with a head knock but returned to the fray at the start of the second half.

Graham, who is hanging up his boots at the end of the season, caught a stray elbow from team-mate Jack Welsby and must undergo a series of head tests to see if he will get the chance to face Wigan at the KCOM Stadium.

"I haven't spoke to him or the doc yet but he has got seven days and that put him in line to play provided he recovers well and comes through the protocols through the week," Woolf said.

St Helens Star:

"Hopefully he will, obviously it's great to be able to get him to a Grand Final and I'd love to see him there next week."

Meanwhile Woolf insists Walmsley will definitely take his place in the title decider.

"We don't think it's serious at all," he said. "He had a bit of a niggle there and he was a bit uncomfortable and that is why we took him off there at the back end.

"It was more precautionary than anything else and certainly could have finished the game, but we did not need to push him through and put him at any risk. We made sure we did that."
