Crompton Way, close to Hall i'th' Wood Railway Station
A YOUNG girl has been taken to hospital after being involved in a collision on a main road in Bolton.
Police say the child was struck by a car, thought to be a Ford Fiesta, on Crompton Way, just after 8am.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said that the girl was taken to hospital with injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening.
Traffic is believed to have returned to normal though there are ongoing roadworks along the route.
