BLEAKHOLT Animal Sanctuary has shared pictures of these dogs who are in need of a new home after being abandoned.

If you could help an animal you would be giving it an extra chance in life and a comfortable forever-home.

Bleakholt’s manager, Karen Weed, describes this week’s pets.

Bury Times: 2

COOPER is a big baby.

He is an 18-month-old cross-breed and we think he might be great Dane-cross mastiff, but we aren’t sure as he came to us as a stray.

We don’t have any history on him.

We know he can be nervous when he first meets you so we are looking for a home with experience of large-breed dogs.

Cooper would need lots of introductions to be confident with new people.
He weighs 60kg so needs a very strong owner as he is very powerful on the lead when he is excited. He is looking for an adult-only home and experience is a must as well as a large garden.

Cooper will need some training, but he is willing to learn, he is generally good with other dogs but could not live with any small breeds or older dogs due to his boisterousness.

If you think you could offer him his forever home please speak to the dog staff about placing an expression of interest on Cooper. He is not suitable for a first-time dog owner.

This stunning girl is Lola. She is a six-year-old American bull, and is a very affectionate and loving girl.

Her previous owner has told us she is good with other dogs, so we may consider a home with another calm dog.

Bury Times:

LOLA has been around children but due to her size and her giddiness we would want a family with children aged 10 years-plus. She would do better in a home with someone around a lot of the time. She has got a problem with her ears at the moment, but hopefully this will be sorted out soon.

If you think you could offer Lola her forever home please fill in an application form via our website. We look at all the applications to find what we believe is the right home for her.
