Wensley Road closed for 8 weeks for gas repairs
A stretch of road in Blackburn will be closed for 8 weeks as gas repairs take place.
Wensley Road will be closed at the junction with Bent Gap Lane opposite the near the Lion Hotel for a major gas replacement by Cadent.
Traffic was being diverted on to Bank Top and King Street from today.
The latest closure comes just two months after Wensley Road was closed at the bottom of Saunders Road for a period of time.
