LANCASHIRE leaders will be speaking with government today about Lancashire's coronavirus response.

The leaders will be meeting on a video call at 11.15 according to Pendle Council leader, Cllr Mohammed Iqbal.

It has recently been revealed that Boris Johnson is set to announce a three tier local lockdown system which could see Lancashire's bars and restaurants closed.

It is also set to have impose more strict social restrictions on the county.

Speaking on BBC Radio Lancashire this morning, Preston City Council Leader Matthew Brown has said he has also been invited to the meeting where he hopes he can express his feelings about potential stricter measures on the county.
