THE body of a man in his 40s was found at a flat in Bolton town centre on Monday.
Police were called to a home at Hargreaves House on Ormrod Street shortly after 4pm by the ambulance service to a report that a body had been discovered.
Officers arrived and paramedics who attended confirmed the man had died.
There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "Just after 4pm on Monday, September 28, officers were called to a report of a body being found at an address in Hargreaves House on Ormrod Street, Bolton by colleagues from the North West Ambulance Service.
"Emergency services attended and despite the work of paramedics, a man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.
"There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report is being prepared for the Coroner."
