A LAUNCH night is being staged for the revival of a Bury venue tonight.

Before now 24 Silver Street has been home to the likes of Club NV and GCHQ.

And now cocktail bar Hidden is the latest to begin trading from the locally listed premises.

Even though bars and clubs are now being forced to close at 10pm, promoters have fitted out Unit B at the building, which was previously known as the Royal Hotel.

Following a 'soft' launch last night, preparations are being made for the official launch.

Plans are in place, via bookings, for table service at the venue, with last orders being taken from 9.30pm,

A spokesman said: "We will also be doing table service only, this means that you will not be allowed to place orders at the bar under any circumstances.

"We are sorry for any inconveniences this may cause to people but unfortunately we have to follow these guidelines to remain open and to keep you loyal customers and our team safe in these strange times.

We are all in this together, and we will soon see light at the end of this dark tunnel. Until then we stick together and keep going."

The venture was incorporated in late July under the directorship of Paul Sarnoe.
