If you’re looking for luxury, then look no further than Northcote.
The Michelin-starred restaurant is a focal point of the hotel- it has menus created by celebrity chef, Lisa Goodwin Allen.
Every room has a plush bed, flat screen TV and a private bathroom; some bedrooms even come with their own balcony or terrace area.
If you’re hoping for a truly decadent getaway, then make sure to stay in one of the hotel’s Garden Lodge Suites.
The Master Suite is the most spacious of the lounges- it has a balcony which boasts stunning views of the Ribble Valley.
The “showstopper” suite also has a “sumptuous bathroom” with a deep bath and separate double shower.
Ideal for cosy stays, this room has a recessed fire with a rustic stone border.

Breck Apartment, Poulton Le Fylde

Looking to stay somewhere stylish and modern?
These apartments have it all and they have each been meticulously designed to a five-star standard.
The Lockwood Suite is described as “pure luxury” and the most expensive apartment they have.
The kitchen has granite worktops and the room also has an open plan bathroom.
The free standing luxury spa bath is a focal point of the room and is said to “leave guests speechless”.
Crow Wood Hotel & Spa Resort, Burnley
Star rating: Five stars

This is a popular hotel for young couples on a romantic getaway.
It’s a relatively new hotel, only opening its doors in 2019.
The hotel’s luxury label comes from the 76 beautifully decorated bedrooms and its award winning Woodland Spa.
If you are going all out in term of decadence and luxury, then make sure to book on of their Executive Luxury Suites which are described as “effortlessly stylish and beautifully luxurious”.
They are also at the top of the hotel, giving you a great view of the city which you can admire from floor to ceiling windows.

The Millstone Mellor, Ribble Valley
Star Rating: Five stars

This award-winning hotel has an AA rosette accredited restaurant and real ale bar.
It’s situated in the beautiful Lancashire countryside and every room in the hotel is said to be ”full of character”.
Their stylish suite is described as “the best in the house”, with plenty of space to relax in and a comfy double bed to sink into.
The suite is designed to feel like home, with earthy-toned décor and plenty of comfortable chairs to relax on.
A nice touch at this hotel is that they provide guests with fresh milk at check in, with a chunky biscuit to dunk into your tea.
Astley Bank Hotel, Darwen
Star rating: Four stars
Price (based on dates for 26-27th September): £80-£100
Dating back to the 19th century, this luxury hotel has a lot of history behind it.
It’s situated on six acres of grounds which guests can explore at their own leisure- it’s a particularly popular spot for newlyweds who want to get some beautiful wedding photographs.
Inside, you will find rustic interiors such as wood panelling and open fires.
It has 37 individually designed rooms, including the Four Poster room.
This room has high ceilings, architectural features and luxurious décor complete with a four poster bed to sink into.
Best of all, the room has a beautiful view of the hotel’s expansive gardens.
