Officers were called to Daubhill last night following reports of a disturbance at an address on St Helens Road.

Shortly after 10pm police attended the incident and found that a man had been injured at the scene.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing and the police are asking anyone with information to get in touch.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Police were called at 10.17pm yesterday Saturday August 29, to reports of a disturbance at an address on St Helens Road, Bolton.

"One male at the scene was injured.

"The investigation is ongoing.

"Anyone with any information should call 101 quoting incident number 3243 of 29/08/2020. Details can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
