THE MP for Bolton West has supported a gardening group’s donation drive.
Chris Green visited the Sabden Group growing site on Johnson Fold earlier this week.
The community group aims to bring people together through growing and gardening.
They offered their space to nearby community groups and workshops while the local UCAN centre was closed due to Covid-19.
They have launched a donation drive appealing for compost, plants, gardening gloves and other equipment so that they can expand.
Mr Green said: “It was great to see first hand all the fantastic work the Sabden Group is doing.
“The community spirit that it has been able to foster is inspirational and it has been a great support for their community during the difficult times brought on by coronavirus,” the MP continued.
