A CAR ended up off the road on its side yesterday evening, Wednesday, after a driver lost control of it at a bend.
A fire crew from Bolton North were sent to Bury Old Road in Ainsworth at around 7.30pm after a vehicle had left the carriageway and come to a halt on an embankment
Fortunately, the driver, a man, and his young son were not injured.
Bolton North fire station watch manager Cubbins said: "The car left the road in a bad bend and ended up on the embankment at a 45 degree angle.
"We put the car back on its four wheels.
"The driver was waiting for roadside assistance."
