Mark Logan, MP for Bolton South East, has declared how impressed he has been with how well pubs have taken to reopening.

Mr Logan showed in a Facebook post that he has been visiting many pubs in his constituency since they were allowed to reopen on July 4, and has been impressed with how they've implemented coronavirus safety measures.

A post on his Facebook page read: "Great to be out and about visiting some of Bolton North East's great British pubs.

"It's been a tough old time for the hospitality sector but I was hugely impressed with the successful reopening of The Nook & Cranny Bromley Cross, The Thomas Egerton, The Sportsmans and The Lamb with social distancing measures and hand sanitisers in place.

"I've been fortunate to visit quite a few pubs and restaurants in the last couple of weeks. And I continue to encourage everyone's efforts in implementing social distancing amongst other measures."

He has encouraged pub owners to contact him so he can visit to highlight the successes of reopening.
