POLICE in Bolton are cracking down on anti-social behaviour hotspots in the fight to keep residents safe.
Officers in the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team have been out in force in patrol vehicles to deter troublemakers from causing grief in the community.
Police have been spending time in Tonge Moor, Astley Bridge and Breightmet this week, offering a visible presence on the streets.
The team have also called into roads in Crompton, Harwood and Bradshaw.
And they have visited hotspots in Little Lever, Halliwell and Sharples.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "The Bolton North Neighbourhood Team are continuing our hotspot area patrols.
"We are concentrating on all our areas with a view to keeping anti-social behaviour to a minimum and keeping people safe."
The use of off-road motorbikes is one particular anti-social behaviour problem that continues to attract the attention of officers.
