A campaign has been launched across Greater Manchester this week to encourage young people to behave safely.

As part of the Safe4Summer campaign, children aged five to 16 are being invited to take part in a creative mini project exploring safety during the summer.

The creative project could be designing a poster, filming a video or making a 3D model on any topic related to safety.

The Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, Greater Manchester Police, Greater Manchester Combined Auhtority and local councils are uniting behind the initiative.

They want to emphasise this year the importance of social distancing in keeping communities safe during the coronavirus crisis.

Those aged five to 16 living in Greater Manchester can take part in the Safe4Summer quiz, open until August 31 for a chance to win an iPad.
