Three men have been arrested after a quantity of drugs and related paraphernalia were seized from a property in the Ribble Valley.

On Friday, officers from the taskforce and the neighbourhood police team, acting on a tip-off from people in the community, executed a drugs warrant at an address on Whipp Avenue in Clitheroe.

A quantity of Class B drugs along with items connected with the supply of drugs were seized and three men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

Posting on Twitter on Friday, Inspector Scott Boast from Pendle and Ribble Valley police said: "Drugs warrant executed in Clitheroe this afternoon.

"Three people arrested and awaiting interview.

"If you give us information about those who are blighting your communities, we will act. "

Police said they are determined to continue targeting people who are involved in the supply of drugs in order to keep their communities safe.
