A MAN who hid drugs in a cereal box inside his home has been jailed.
Matthew Hefford, of Thorn Street, Burnley, was arrested by the targeted crime team in Burnley back in March.
At the time, officers had reason to believe that the 33-year-old was intending to supply Class A drugs, namely crack cocaine and heroin.
A police spokesman said: “Hefford was found with several individual street deals of Crack Cocaine and Heroin, cash and two mobile phones.
“A search of his home address uncovered more drugs hidden in a cereal box.”
He has now pleaded guilty to the charges and has been sentenced for 32 months in prison.
