A COUNCIL has highlighted its support for those suffering during the coronavirus crisis as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.
Blackburn with Darwen Council has spearheaded a social media campaign featuring the support services available to borough residents.
And its using this week's national campaign to reinforce the message.
Available support being highlighted will include national services like Big White Wall, Samaritans, Every Mind Matters and CALM as well as the wider wellbeing offer available via the council such as the Wellbeing Service and BwD Time to Change hub.
Cllr Damian Talbot, Blackburn with Darwen Council's public health and wellbeing boss, said: "We know how incredibly difficult the current situation has been for everyone and good mental health and wellbeing is vitally important as we continue these lockdown conditions.
"Our mental health campaign has been very well received and Mental Health Awareness Week is a perfect opportunity to continue the good work. This means helping raise awareness of, and signposting people to, a range of brilliant services that are available to support people’s mental health and wellbeing at this time."
